Swan Lake

This is a tiny video of one of the pieces William is working on for his upcoming exhibition. I made the tutus! He he he. A memoir

My thoughtful friend Meatball gave me this book as a gift and I would highly recommend it. Vali Myers was an artist through and through. Just her appearance was a work of art but she delicately produced some beautifully soft and dreamlike artwork. Gianni Menichetti, former lover and devoted companion of Vali's wrote this charming account of her swirling dancing flourish of a life. I love it. Alice xxx

Shirley Maclaine, what!

Shirley Maclaine is my latest actress muse. I'm watching all her earlier films. Irma La Douce is costume and hair heaven for me. What a way to go! was what we watched whilst soaking in the bath and drowning in red wine on the weekend. Edith Head, pictured at the top designed the costumes in it, and though the story is cute/quirky it's worth watching just for the visual splendor. God Shirley Maclaine makes me happy too, her legs are stunning and the angle at which she holds her feet is particularly pleasing to me

Most Wanted

Our little Hispanic gang member friend finally found a worthy Mary-Jane t-shirt. I kinda want one even though never puff puff pass. Once a few years ago there was a pair of designer gold strappy stiletto sandals in Miss Louise and they had green gem marijuana leaves down the front of the shoe. Does anyone remember who made them?

Oh Christopher Kane Pre Spring Summer 2011, the shoes, the shoes oh my lord the shoes!!! Mariaflora had some lil' photos on her Miss Athenes blog a few weeks ago and the shoe photo kills me. Sigh, gasp, breathe deeply. The dresses are candy sweetness toothache city too. XXX Alice. 

Fatso

William and I fanged it out of town on Friday night to a wee deserted beach down Gippsland way. Pot belly stove called Fatso, apple crumble, roast chicken, a rainbow over the beach and sand dunes from here to kingdom come = Fucking Excellent.
