TDH Shard Boots

Meet my new boots, they are a sample pair given to me by the generous and truly fabulous Terry de Havilland. I love them so so so so much.
So I designed and made a catsuit, just to compliment my new Shard boots.
Thank you Liz and Terry! XXXX
The gorgeous de Havillands have a Pop-Up shop in London at the moment.
It's at 8 Ganton Street, W1F 7QP

I've decided I'm going to try for a completely red wardrobe for my honeymoon. I have about 10 months to create it, find the right red textiles and sew them up, source the perfect red accessories, polish all of my red shoes, gather my favorite red lipsticks and stock pile co-ordinating knickers, tights and socks.
Last night I wore a Metal Couture gigantic crucifix, rouge Edgeley Elvira dress, and on my tootsies my divine red Terry De Havilland stiletto boots. I had a red Edgeley Clutch bag and a huge red woolen shawl too. Oh and Ruby Woo MAC red lipstick
Last night WLG and I ventured out to see the KILLER Mojo Juju on the last date of her Lady Killer Tour. The band is tight! I love 'em. Stella Angelico and the Switch were one of the support acts. Oh I LOVE Stella. Watching her on stage feels like what it must have felt like seeing an Ike and Tina Turner show.  HOT STUFF

Shoe quiz

Terry de Havilland Tweeted this fantastic look-book of his from the 70s. I love this kind of game. Which ones would you buy?
I'm getting the leopard mules to wear to the shops/camping/around the pool, the blue butterfly strappy sandals to wear to the discotheque/having cocktails/telling tall stories, and the red ones with the fluff to wear in the bedroom.

I just bought these new Terry de Havilland Tammy heels. What stompers! I feel super glamorously kick-ass now.
Remember I drew these ages ago? Now they're mine!
So thats my tip for the week, draw what you really want in life and it will so come to you. Just like chanting but way less embarrassing.

More Terry de Havilland love

This is another pair of shoes I rather admire, they are called Tammy. Wish, wish, wish. See them in all their glory on the de Havilland website HERE. Oh and I'd just like to acknowledge Liz de Havilland the gorgeous wife, business partner, and foot model/muse, of Terry. Big up Liz!

Terry De Havilland

Ok here I am again telling you what to do if in London. The Terry De Havilland exhibition at the Shoe Gallery at Selfridges, opened on 12th July and is on for one month. There are limited edition shoes being made especially to celebrate Terry's 50th year of kick-arse shoe making.

I drew my favorite pair, multi coloured Lily snakeskin. I remember seeing shoes like this as a child in fashion and rock'n'roll books. Snakeskin platforms on the Bowies. I die for these!
Terry De Havilland you are my hero.

See Terry's amazing website HERE and buy some. You have never bought a pair shoes if you haven't bought a pair of De Havillands. The others don't count much.

Terry De Havilland + Double Wig + Alice = Trouble

So I wasn't going out, a cold, a trip the next morning. I made myself a new white lycra mini dress, then a glass of wine and Nasir and Paulie are dressing me up all stupid. It was so funny.

Terry De Havilland the shoe master made me a pair of red snakeskin boots. My feet now lead me into trouble.

When I got home my wig wouldn't come off and bobby pins were flying all over the landing. The next day Dinx (my house mate) had made a collage on the table. Hint hint I think.
Love Alice
